PET FBI is a legally registered non-profit organization. We are able to provide a very much needed and valuable service on a shoestring budget thanks to a group of dedicated volunteers. You too can help, even if you have only a little time every now and then. Here are some things anyone can do: When you see a lost or found flyer around town, contact the people to tell them about PET FBI. Or, leave a message on our Voice-Mail (614) 675 -1305 with the telephone number from the flyer and we will contact them. Mention PET FBI to anyone who might be interested. For example, when you see someone walking their dog, go up to them and say "Did you know that if you ever lose your pet there is a great lost and found web site just for Ohio?" When you see someone selecting cat food in the supermarket, tell them about PET FBI. Mention it to your vet; ask him or her to post a flyer in the waiting room........ You get the idea. The more people who know about PET FBI and contribute information to the database, the more effective it will be. Even people who don't have pets should be aware of this resource. Almost everyone has had to deal with a stray at one time or another. Official Volunteer Activities For a list of volunteer opportunities, go to our Volunteer Questionnaire page and email us to discuss an assignment. Please let us know first what you plan to do so that we can avoid duplication of effort. Email: help@petfbi.org or Voice Mail: 614/ 675 1305
Eventually we hope to make PET FBI a household word in Ohio. The more
people who know about it, the more effective it will be in getting
pets back home as quickly and efficiently as possible, thus sparing
much grief and suffering on the part of pets and their people, and
helping to ease the burden of animal shelters.
