Pet Details
Location: Ashbrooke Rd, Romeoville, Will County, IL, US, 60446. The dog was seen running along the highway off I-55 around 8:20-9am 5/29/22. The location where she was found was near a big open field “Lake Renwick Preserve - Plainfield Township Access“ there was a small hiking trail. However, the dog was on the highway near traffic. She was found highly exhausted and dehydrated. She was brought to a near shelter “Pet Project” but was not able to leave there. The dogs current location is in Chicago @ the Anti-Cruelty Society 510 N LaSalle Dr, Chicago, IL 60654. The dog only had a rabies dog tag no name or address. Comments: We believe the dog is deaf, but it could be the dog was very tired. We tried several times calling her. We also believe the dog was outside for at least 1-3 days. The dog is very calm, but grows when she is touched near her wounds. The dog refused to eat at the time, but did drink water.
